  • Mind Set Win.

Some of the world's best athletes reveal how their daily psychological approaches can help develop your own mental strength in the new podcast series Mind Set Win - that launched in January - with hosts Cédric Dumont and Kate Courtney helping to lift the lid on how mental techniques used by top athletes, coaches and managers can unlock performance in day-to-day life.

  • The Downtime Podcast

From the founder: “I’ve been riding mountain bikes for over 30 years, and have always loved it. Despite that love, I’ve never been great at it, generally ending up towards the back of the pack. My old day job as an Engineer involved understanding the detail of how components and systems work, in order to optimise them to deliver the best possible performance. I wondered what would happen if I applied that approach to myself…

So, some years ago I got a training programme from a qualified strength and conditioning coach, and took some mountain bike skills coaching. These two relatively small changes have transformed my riding. Not only am I faster, but I am enjoying my riding even more. Something that I didn’t think was possible.

This podcast was born out of the wish to make that sort of information available to as many people as possible. The aim being to help us all improve, and get even more enjoyment from riding bikes in the woods! I will be speaking to people who are involved in the very top levels of the sport. Providing you with an insight into how they do what they do, and some useful hints and tips for you to try yourselves. I’ll also be uncovering what goes on behind the scenes at your favourite brands. Finding out where they come from, what makes them tick, and how they develop the products we all ride.” Chris Hall – Presenter/Founder
