Restaurant: La Flamme

I visited La Flamme today and it was a fantastic decision. Situated opposite the Super Morzine lift, La Flamme boasts a beautiful outdoor terrace and luxurious inside dining or drinks area as well as an extra covered terrace which drieclty overlooks the SM lift and the famous Morzine bridge.

As soon as I walked in I was greeted with smiles and warmth and was led to a pretty little table with a window view so I could relax and enjoy my meal. The waiter was delightful and not only introduced me to the restaurant owner but happily chatted for a while about Morzine and music and where else to go.

So what would you like madame, he said, I asked what he recommended and he said the steak, so that is what i ordered. Le Steak a la Plancha with frites and Morilles sauce. And. My. Goodness. It. Was. Fabulous!

The menu features all the classics you’ll be looking for in the mountains. Pizza, Burgers, Steak etc but with a twist. The prices are excellent but the standard of cooking and presentation will make you feel like you’re in a fine dining restaurant, but casual dress and relaxing vibe. I’ve included a couple of images of the menu, but this is just a snippet of what’s on offer..

Note*. I thought I saw a cute couple outside, but looking rather cold and totally covered in snow. Turns out it’s a small shrubbery. Anyway made me laugh!

If you are headed to Morzine, La Flamme is a must visit!
