Morzine Snow Conditions.
Snow report: -7 / 2 degrees. Bright sunshine. Sunset: 17:25. Powder still there, alongside perfectly groomed pistes. Cold but worth it and warming up for this time next week to a more friendly -4 / 3 degrees.
After a couple of weeks with little snowfall and heavy rain, the snow has now fallen from the heavens and blanketed the region in style! Current conditions are joyful so if you have booked to come out or thinking about booking a trip, you will be in for a really treat.
Here’s a few pics from my last adventure. I took the Super Morzine lift up to Avoriaz and cruised up down and around the Linderets Bowl and The Stash, then a few runs on and around Lil Stash, the Snowpark and over Avoriaz Golf Course. I was about to drop into the fresh bank of powder from the top of Serrausaix however I noticed one of the steps on my binding had broken. To fair they were rather old, so no problem and I swiftly descended back down to Morzine to visit Alan Shop to get it repaired. Alan Shop is one of the friendliest and well stocked shops in Morzine and he was happy to fix me up good as new and with some spares just in case. Definitely one to put on your bookmarks when you get our here.
The current forecast is bright sunshine for days and days and a welcome new snow dump in another week, so everyone in resort right now is super happy!
