Les Gets Announces Winter 2026/27 Opening Dates

The countdown to winter is officially on! Les Gets has confirmed its opening dates for the 2026/27 ski season, with the resort preparing to welcome skiers and snowboarders from Saturday 19 December 2026.

The official Les Gets ski area will remain open until Sunday 11 April 2027, giving visitors almost four months to enjoy the pistes, mountain scenery and legendary village atmosphere of this beautiful French Alpine resort.

There could even be an earlier start to the season. A partial opening of the Les Gets ski area is scheduled for Saturday 12 December 2026, subject to sufficient natural snowfall. As always, early-season lift and piste openings will depend on snow conditions.

Les Gets forms part of the huge Portes du Soleil ski area, giving skiers access to one of Europe's largest international ski domains, stretching across France and Switzerland. The resort is also linked directly with Morzine, while the wider Portes du Soleil offers an incredible network of pistes, lifts and mountain villages to explore.

For winter 2026/27, skiers can look forward to the familiar combination that makes Les Gets such a popular ski resort: a traditional Alpine village, extensive skiing for all abilities, excellent ski schools, family-friendly facilities and plenty of restaurants, bars and après-ski options.

The Les Gets winter 2026/27 season also includes some great dates in the calendar, from Christmas and New Year celebrations to the resort's Red Ski Show and the 1st Ski Festival in March.

With the official opening date now confirmed, it's time to start planning your Les Gets ski holiday 2026/27 — from accommodation and ski lessons to lift passes, equipment hire and après-ski.

Winter is coming to Les Gets!
