MORZINE, ENCHANTING VILLAGE CHRISTMAS EVENTS!
Every year, Morzine lights up and unleashes all its magic to celebrate the end-of-year festivities. The village comes alive to the rhythm of parades, brass bands, and fireworks. Wonderment is guaranteed for young and old alike! Take a look at these amazing events and activities. Most are free, some are brilliant paid for workshops, around €3. Saturday, December 20
5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Meet Santa Claus. Sare a special moment with Santa Claus before he sets off on his big gift-giving tour! A sweet and magical encounter not to be missed! Tourist Office Square. Free admission

4:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. Meet Santa Claus. Last-minute wishes and souvenir photos on the agenda! Tourist Office Square. Free admission
Between 4pm and 6pm: Fanfare Cocktail de zic . Take a trumpet, trombone, saxophone, a little helicon, a touch of guitar and percussion, and you get a delightful street band! In the streets of the village. Free admission

11 a.m. - 12 p.m. Meet Santa Claus. Come and share a special moment with Santa Claus before he flies off on his big gift-giving tour! He will take the time to greet young and old alike, listen to their last wishes, and pose for a souvenir photo. Tourist Office Square - Free admission
4:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Chocolate workshop Treat yourself to a delicious and friendly experience at our chocolate workshop! No experience necessary, just a desire to enjoy yourself and get creative! Everyone can take their creation home with them. Online registration €3 - Tourist Office Square
4:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. Just for Winter Concert. A warm duo that revisits Christmas carols and gospel songs with emotion and energy, for a festive and luminous moment. Free admission - Tourist Office Square

To get the week off to a good start, enjoy a complimentary glass of mulled wine or hot apple juice, accompanied by a tasting of local cheeses from the L'Alpage cheese dairy. 8:45 a.m.Discover the ski resort and snow cannons / Visit the snow factory. Learn the secrets of making artificial snow and its uses from mountain and ski slope professionals. Departure on skis (descent of slope B). Morzine Piste Inspection! 7:45 a.m. Ski slopes open. Join the ski patrollers and first responders on their inspection rounds before the ski area opens. The lucky ones will be the first to ski on perfectly groomed snow. Followed by a complimentary breakfast at the rescue station. Meet at 7:45 a.m. at the bottom of the. Pléney gondola lifts. Blue slope skiing level. Online registration €3. Cancelled in case of bad weather.
10 a.m. - 1 p.m. Workshop: Decorating Christmas trees with slate. Let your creativity run wild and make charming slate decorations— sparkling trees and stars. Tourist Office Square - Free admission
10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Special Christmas Snookgolf. Christmas Snookgolf. A cross between billiards and mini-golf, test your skills on an original Christmas-themed table where precision and good humor are essential! Tourist Office Square - Free admission
10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Workshop: Making a Christmas garland. A workshop full of glitter and magic where children make a colorful garland using fir trees, stars, baubles, and little festive characters! Tourist Office Square. Online registration €3. For ages 4-10
2:30pm - 4pm. Making soy wax candles, decorated with dried flowers. A candle... like no other! Children create their own natural candle made from soy wax. Place de l’Office de Tourisme Online registration €3 For ages 6-12
From 6 p.m.: Arrival of Santa Claus. Come and share in the magic of Christmas by giving a warm welcome to our guest of honor: Santa Claus! A magical parade, full of color and excitement, will accompany his arrival at the Tourist Office square, led by ESF instructors. The evening will continue with fireworks, set off from the Pléney snow front and visible from the Tourist Office square. Don't miss this unique moment, just before our star of the day sets off on his big tour to deliver presents. The parade will start in front of Le Pléney and finish at the Tourist Office square..
Thursday, December 25
10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Treasure hunt In the ski area or in the village, depending on snow conditions and what you feel like doing! The goal is to use a roadmap to find all the markers hidden along the route, answer the associated questions, and accumulate as many points as possible Children must be accompanied by their parents Road map and free registration at the Tourist Office
10 a.m. - 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. - 6 p.m. Wooden hut creation. Wooden hut building. All budding artists can express their talent with wooden huts tailored to their size (2m high) which they assemble following the plans and then dismantle together, all under the watchful eye of qualified activity leaders The result: a realistic, high-quality hut and, of course, smiling children. 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Nature discovery walk and creation of a roll-on special for skiers. During the walk, you will observe the plants that brave the winter and their secrets. The outing will end with a friendly workshop, where you will make your own special roll-on for skiers, based on oils infused with plants picked last summer. Meet at the entrance to the Parc des Dérêches on the pool side. Online registration €2.
2pm - 3pm. Creative workshop: Decorating an enamel plaque. You will personalize an enamel plaque by painting a fir tree with acrylic paint, which you can decorate according to your creativity.
