L’OXALIS - Hotel Alpina
Oxalis is an herb with a pretty shape that evokes a heart, a clover. It is the favourite herb of Damien Duron, chef of the restaurant of the same name, who collects it daily on the heights of the village during the summer, in the forests of Chavannes or Mont Chéry. This young talented chef is notably in renowned establishments such as the Hameau Albert 1er in Chamonix, where he acquired the necessary experience to be in charge of his own team. Damien took over the reins of the restaurant of his wife's family hotel whose wish was to continue the tradition that had existed for 3 generations. Renamed the Oxalis, the establishment is open to non residents and offers an elegant and tasty cuisine with gourmet dishes with an emphasis on local products; such as trout from Savoie, veal from the Rhône Alpes, fish from Lake Geneva and not forgetting a dessert buffet composed of the greatest classics of French French pastries.
