sALOMON UNVEILS 24/25 ALPINE SKIING RANGE
ALPINE SKIS FOR THOSE WHO LOVE A GOOD CURVE!
Designed for skiers addicted to charging down the mountain, Salomon’s newest Addikt Pro 76 ski £780 features a playful, fresh and progressive design. The innovative Motion Tail technology and a 76mm waist make it perfect for mixing short and long turns and charging down with confidence, whatever the snow conditions. The Motion Tail technology increases the flexibility of the tail by 5% for a more forgiving yet responsive all-day ski. The 76mm waist makes it stable, yet playful so you can step on the gas or carve up the slopes with short turns. The ski features a woodcore and double TI construction that is enhanced by Salomon’s Blade technology making it responsive at high speeds.

Designed for skiers who like to carve fast, precise turns, the S/MAX 12 ski set £680 combines playful transmission, reactive edge grip and increased agility. The redesigned, slalom-specific, two-piece Edge Amplifier provides 30% more edge grip while maintaining the right amount of flex underfoot for increased reactivity and agility. The S/MAX 12 also has a full Poplar Woodcore construction that maximizes liveliness, stability and ski-to-snow contact while filtering vibrations. Double layer of titanal, one on either side of the core, improves hard snow performance by increasing precision, edge grip and responsiveness. A full ABS sidewall combines with the Poplar Woodcore and those two sheets of titanal to deliver maximum power to the edges of the ski from tip to tail. S/MAX 12 also incorporates a binding system (the MI 12) inspired from Salomon’s racing technology that places the binding as close as possible to the ski to maintain a low profile. The result is direct control of the ski and greater connection to the snow.

Salomon’s alpine ski racing commitment dates back decades, with a long list of athletes landing on podiums at ski racing’s biggest events. This same team of engineers, designers, ski technicians and pro racers is also Salomon’s house of research and development for ski products designed for everyday skiers. Ski technologies include the new Dual Core 2 technology, Blade technology, Woodcore, and the use of polymer inserts Into the Titanal layer. What do all those fancy-sounding technologies do for the everyday skier? They deliver confidence in a ski package that it not difficult to ski, as some race skis might seem—whether you ski 40 days per year or break away from your job for a week ski holiday each season.
