Avoriaz Open 6th - 7th December 2025

Thanks to mega snow conditions and the hard work of the SERMA team, the company that operates the ski lifts, Avoriaz will be open this weekend, 6th-7th December 2025. There will be a partial opening in the Arare, Chavanette, and Lindarets sectors and a link to the Châtel ski area.

Special rates for this weekend.

Avoriaz single rate: €26.00 per day and €48.00 per weekend. Portes du Soleil rate -15%. Season passes are of course valid!

Lifts open:

  • Prodains cable car from 8:45 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.

  • Lac-Intrêts chairlift from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

  • Stade chairlift from 9:00 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.

  • Fornet chairlift from 9:15 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.

  • Choucas chairlift from 9:15 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.

  • Tour chairlift from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

  • Ecoles 1 ski lift from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

  • Ardent gondola from 8:45 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.

  • Prolays chairlift from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

  • Chaux Fleurie chairlift from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Open slopes:

  • Arare: Blue Arare / Blue Arare snowpark / Blue du Lac / Tête aux Bœufs and Surf

  • Chavanette / Fornet: Blue du Fornet / Blue de Chavanette / Aller et Retour de Chavanette

Lower station of the Prodains cable car from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. —> Locate the ticket offices . Resort center ticket office from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. —> Locate the ticket offices. Season passes purchased in advance are valid for the pre-opening.

Access to Avoriaz

Avoriaz resort center (free covered parking) . Access to the ski area via the Prodains cable car. (Free parking at the Prodains cable car.). Access via the Ardent gondola lift. (Free parking at Ardent.)

Safety

With heavy snowfall in recent weeks, snow depths are very high for this time of year and the snowpack remains very unstable. The risk of avalanches is high and will remain so this weekend. Off-piste skiing is strongly discouraged.
